DMCA Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026 · NexzGamer respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

Important: NexzGamer does not host mod files. We only link to third-party hosting platforms (GTA5-Mods, GTAInside, GitHub, cfx.re, and others). If your copyrighted work appears on one of those platforms, the fastest resolution is to file a takedown directly with that host. We will remove the listing and link from NexzGamer upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice as described below.

1. How to File a Takedown Notice

Send a written copyright takedown notice to dmca@nexzgamer.com. Your notice must include all of the following elements to be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, original source URL, or other identifying information).
  3. The exact URL(s) on nexzgamer.com where the allegedly infringing material appears.
  4. Your full contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. The statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  6. The statement: "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or am authorised to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."

2. What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

Upon receipt of a complete and compliant DMCA notice, NexzGamer will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing listing within 48–72 hours.
  • Notify the submitter of the listing, if applicable, that the content has been removed.
  • Retain a copy of the notice in our records as required by law.

We are unable to act on incomplete notices. Please ensure all six required elements are present before submitting.

3. Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your listing was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@nexzgamer.com containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the listing that was removed and the URL where it previously appeared.
  3. The statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the listing was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material."
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the listing within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

4. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with our obligations under the DMCA, NexzGamer maintains a policy of terminating the submission privileges of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.

5. False Claims

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content or activity is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees. Do not submit false or fraudulent claims.
